Pretty rough week

I had ordered a wonderful treadmill and the driver couldnt get his big truck down our driveway so my husband had to drive up to the road and load it into his truck. Then back at the house he and I had to unload it and bring it in. The box alone weighed 210lbs.

Needless to say shortly after that I was unable to walk for the next few days. I dont know how my husband managed to go to work after that.

Finally yesterday I was able to get around and do things again. My back is still sore but getting bettter.

As for the treadmill, boy is it nice. It has all the bells and whistles. I know I have to start out slow and I may never get very intense on it, but it has got to help, or at least I am praying it will.

Hubby home for the weekend so will probably be back next week.

Busy day today

I put off the grocery trip from yesterday til this morning. Got to Wal Mart early hoping to beat the crowd. I think everyone else had that idea too!! LOL.

Got home before the weather went nasty. Started to rain, snow and sleet, but didnt amount to much.

Back was killing me after carrying in the groceries, even with hubby helping out. Other than that not doing to bad today.

I LOVE Football so I am sad to be seeing it come to an end. Right now I got to go cause my GIANTS are playing the Cowboys!!!
Talk to you later,

Rainy day pains??

I read an article that said that the weather doesnt play a role in your pain level, but I hate to tell them, it does for me!!!

This rainy humid weather is killing my bones!!! I am trying very hard to just do regular every day things.

I can sit in the chair and throw stuffies for the dogs to play fetch with, so that is enjoyable for me.

My new treadmill should be here Monday and I am really praying that I will be able to use it on a daily basis even for just a few minutes a day.

Hubby will be in early in the morning so I will be back to post on Monday.
See you all then,
Bonnie

Exhausted today

We had such very high winds last night that all my critter were so scared and I was a wreck too. Up all night long.

I then went to a luncheon with some lady friend of mine and we had a guest preacher speaker. It was a very nice time.

I came home and crashed but I am still exhausted and my bones are really aching.

I am just praying for a nights sleep tonight.
See you tomorrow,
Bonnie

Tough getting going today

Took a pain pill at 10:30 last night, then woke up and took a muscle relaxer at 1:00 and then woke up and took a xanax at
3:00 am. Finaly at 8:20, I gave up and got up and fed the zoo.

Just ate some eggs so hoping the protein will give me a bit of an energy boost to get going.

Not aching too bad right now so I hope I can get a few loads of laundry done today.
How bout you??

I wonder why

it is that no one can really understand this thing called Fibromyalgia. Even though I was diagnosed with it just a couple months ago, I still associate it with the stigma of not believing it is real some days. Some times I find myself wondering if it really isnt just a catch all phrase that drs use when they don't really know what is wrong with you and then on my bad days, I find myself believing that it must really be a real disease.

I haven't had a pain free day since September 2007. It started with a charley horse at bedtime. It sent me to neurologists, neuromuscular surgeons, rheumatologist and pain clinics.

I had to laugh at my last rheumy visit when she said to me "Usually when people tell me they have tried everything, I know there are many things yet for them to try. But you, you REALLY have tried it all." And yet nothing works to help this pain, nothing.

I find myself dreading bedtime. The pain is more intense then. Resltess legs you say, drs didn't think so but did try me on the Requip.

Here's hoping tomorrow will be a good day. See you then,
Bonnie
